I'm Lucy, a graphic and UX/UI designer based in the UK. Before Toast and Type, I spent close to eight years working in the public sector, an experience that shaped how I work now: methodically, and with a genuine interest in the people behind a brand, not just the aesthetics. I'm trained formally through a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design, as well as a Professional Diploma in Product Design, bringing together brand strategy and visual craft in equal measure.

Food and hospitality branding has been a consistent thread throughout my work, and Toast & Type grew out of wanting to take that further, working directly with small, independent businesses in that space, rather than through the layers of a larger studio or agency.
